NoLapse Privacy Policy

Effective date: 30 October 2026 · Developed by Bhargav

In short: NoLapse does not collect, send, sell or share any of your data. Everything you enter stays in Chrome on your own computer.

What NoLapse is

NoLapse is a Chrome extension that reminds you before bills, renewals, subscriptions and document expiry dates are due, and keeps a record of what you have paid. It is a reminder tool only. It does not make payments and does not connect to banks or any other service.

Information you enter

To work, NoLapse saves the details you type in:

This information is stored only in Chrome's extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your computer. It is never sent to the developer or to anyone else. NoLapse asks you not to enter full card, policy, account or ID numbers, and never needs them.

What NoLapse does not do

Permissions NoLapse uses

Optional Google Calendar button

This feature is off by default. If you turn it on in Settings and then click "Add to Google Calendar" for a reminder, NoLapse opens a Google Calendar page in a new tab with that reminder's name and due date filled in. Nothing is sent unless you click it, and only the name and date are included. What happens on Google Calendar is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.

Backups and Excel exports

When you choose Export backup or Export to Excel, NoLapse creates a file and Chrome saves it to your computer, usually in your Downloads folder. These files stay under your control. NoLapse does not upload them anywhere.

Deleting your data

You can delete everything at any time in Settings → Delete all data. Removing the extension from Chrome also deletes all NoLapse data stored by Chrome.

Children

NoLapse is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly handle children's information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
